An exercise room on steroids.... get it?

An exercise room on steroids…. get it?

My third trip to California this year placed me in the heart of San Francisco to photograph another corporate event for Interior Design Magazine. As is customary with their events, a bus tour was arranged to visit several corporate offices of “tech” companies. This year visits were made to admire the office designs for Visa, Wired Magazine, Yelp, Weebly, Luminosity, ZenDesk, and NeuStar. The tour guides were the architects and designers who created these playgrounds for the millennial generation. Some of the most innovative ideas, designed to attract and keep happy, the 20-somethings that currently rule the world! Here’s just a very small taste of designs/features/benefits of working in one of these incredible office spaces…

This was very apropos for their staff.

This is set up just as you walk into the cafeteria in one company. Employees grab them on the way in and oddly, look just like they're playing on their iPhones... but they're not. :-)
